Tender for Google.

Working with a structural steel company Severfield, the brief was to lead the creative for Severfield’s tender response for the construction of Google’s brand new flagship London headquarters.

I presented my idea to the Severfield team of using the Severfield brand marks in the style of Google and they loved it.

Every member of the tender team had their own Android avatar.

Every aspect of the tender needed to reflect and empathise with the Google brand. The detail came in the creation of over 20 Android avatars for every
member of the tender team. These avatars were used in the CVs and the organisation chart in the tender.
At the end of the tender process, each team member was emailed their avatar as a keepsake.

Having proved myself with the initial tender logo, I led the creative from the initial brief to the end product, resulting in an engaging, cross-channel, work winning tender.

I supported a collaborative approach and engaged with colleagues at all levels, from the steelwork fabricators to the executive officers overseeing the project.

This was one of Severfield’s biggest contract wins, and they have the largest trade package on the job worth £50m.

Google required Severfield to demonstrate within its tender how Severfield’s culture fits with Google’s own, using a 2 minute ‘YouTube-style video, which I filmed at locations across the UK and edited with a quick turnaround for Severfield.

This was a career highlight, leading and working on the complete creative output of the tender.  In addition, I loved working and getting to know some fantastic people at Severfield.
